DTG Printing: What is that?

What is Direct to Garment Printing?

Direct-to-garment printing is a process of printing on textiles using specialized aqueous ink jet technology. DTG printers typically have a platen designed to hold the garment in a fixed position, and the printer inks are jetted or sprayed onto the textile by the print head.

Full Colour Printing

Direct to garment pricing is based upon the size of the artwork and how much ink it will use. DTG printing produces high vibrancy of colours, making this the perfect technique for artwork that has many colours and details. The best results are achieved on 100% cotton or majority cotton blends. Printing on white garments will have no hand, and printing on black garments will have a hand until the first wash.
