Direct-to-garment printing is a process of printing on textiles using specialized aqueous ink jet technology. DTG printers typically have a platen designed to hold the garment in a fixed position, and the printer inks are jetted or sprayed onto the textile by the print head.
Direct to garment pricing is based upon the size of the artwork and how much ink it will use. DTG printing produces high vibrancy of colours, making this the perfect technique for artwork that has many colours and details. The best results are achieved on 100% cotton or majority cotton blends. Printing on white garments will have no hand, and printing on black garments will have a hand until the first wash.
Our suggested sizing and placement is only a recommendation inspired by our most common orders but not used for all orders or garments. These sizings and placements are for everyday simple company names, or brands and depends on your logo dimensions.
